Making a player invisible

This tutorial is really short and will allow you to make the player completely invisible. Essentially not rendering the player. This includes particle effects.

What you need before doing this:
– A basic mod class
– Proxy classes
– An EventHandler (see coolAlias’ tutorial)

The only thing you need to do is add a function which will cancel the player rendering. In you EventHandler class, but some variation of the following:

@ForgeSubscribe
public void pre(RenderPlayerEvent.Pre event) {
event.setCanceled(true);
}

And make sure you register it in a CLIENT proxy (they function can only occur on the client side)

MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.register(new EventHandler());
